Valentine's Day is a holiday mostly celebrated by couples. The tradition is buying gifts for your lover/spouse and celebrating your love for one another.
When someone says "please be my Valentine," they are asking you to be their lover for that particular day or generally.

@miyukumamoto_ it means that person loves and is attracted to you.. majority of people use Valentines Day to express their love to their loved ones. And some use it to express their love to their crush. Or some use it to express how much their friends or family means to them. So when somebody ask you to be their valentine, it means they’re attracted to you or like you.. hope this helps..
